As anyone who’s served in combat will attest to, war changes you. For some, these changes are subtle and relatively harmless; but for others the changes can be detrimental, and even permanent. For some the changes occur immediately, and are easily recognizable. But for others, these changes can happen gradually over time, and can be less obvious – but no less damaging.
